Taking Care of Campers Better Than Anyone...

Since 1935, we have been the home away from home for girls seeking a summer filled with fun, excitement, laughter, traditions and profound friendships.  In 2004, we saw a need to offer shorter sessions and The Glen at Lake of the Woods Camp was born. Our two week program is perfect for first time campers of all ages looking for a traditional camp experience. We pride ourselves on ensuring that each girl feels a part of our camp community that values acceptance, inclusion, camaraderie and individuality.

We provide a warm, nurturing environment where girls are empowered to discover their talents and strengths grow in confidence and self-esteem through the individual attention we provide each of our campers.

We believe that camp is a critical part of a child’s education and social development. Our campers leave camp with life skills such as independence, decision making, team work and a sense of resilience that help ensure a successful foundation for their future.

Campers ages 6-14 attend The Glen Lake of the Woods Camp from across the United States and around the world. A typical session includes about 145 girls with 12-14 girls in each cabin. Campers live in spacious, airy, modern cabins with electricity, bathrooms and showers.
