Our program at The Glen is
dedicated to promote individual growth and achievement. Our mature
staff provides expert individual and small group instruction in all
activities. They encourage campers to expand their horizons and try new
activities. The focus of our program is to help each camper grow in
her confidence and skills. We have an ‘A’ and ‘B’ day schedule,
allowing our girls to develop skills in 6 different activity areas of
their choice.
Campers participate in five 55-minute
activity periods each ‘A’ day and a different five each ‘B’ day. Our
camp has a wonderful combination of individually selected and
group-oriented activities. Campers spend the morning participating in
activities as a cabin group and the afternoon doing their individually
selected activities.
During "free choice" time,
activities that are not taught as a class will be available. For
example, campers may play in a ping-pong tournament, jump on the water
trampoline in the lake, make stationery, play frisbee golf, get
involved in a game of Ga-ga and more!
Rest hour is a time for campers to send and
receive mail, play games in the cabin, read a book or simply relax and
prepare for more afternoon excitement!
Here is an example of what a day will look
like at The Glen. Each camper will choose her own
afternoon activities so the ‘Customized Activity Schedule’ below is
just an example.
