General Camp Counselors:
Counselors at our camps have a dual role. You live in a cabin with a group of campers and two to three other
counselors with whom you share cabin responsibilities and you instruct an activity during the day. If you are
interested in applying for a counselor position, below are the possible activities you may apply to instruct:
Water Sports
swimming, jr. lifesaving, canoeing, kayaking, rowing, fishing, sailing, windsurfing,
waterskiing (involves boat driving, tubing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, etc.)
Arts, Media and Related Activities
arts and crafts, ceramics, jewelry making, set-design, fine arts,
cartooning, newspaper, model rocketry, chess, hebrew tutoring,
drama/theater, comedy, computers, digital photography, guitar
Adventure
high and low ropes, climbing, giant swing, zip line,
outdoor living skills, outdoor cooking, overnight trip leading
Horseback Riding
(English and Western), animal care
Land Sports and Fitness
archery, riflery, tennis, golf, gymnastics, wrestling, karate, martial arts, inline skating,
roller hockey, dance, pom poms, cheerleading, aerobics, pilates, yoga,
sports (baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer, australian sports, flag football, field hockey, lacrosse)
Besides the above activities, we are also looking for a web designer, videographer and photographer.
These positions do not necessarily include camper instruction, but will include camper interaction
and daily program involvement.
Office Staff:
As a member of our office staff you live in staff housing and assist in the daily operation and administration
of our camp. These positions do not involve leading groups of children, but have lots of interaction with the
children and daily program. If you are interested in applying for an office staff position, below are the possible
positions you may apply for:
Office assistant, accounting intern, camp store manager, camp shopper/driver
Medical Staff:
The medical staff consists of four full-time nurses and two assistant nurses. The four nurses live in the health
center and service the camps' medical needs throughout the day and night. Nursing assistants are students working
towards a nursing degree or a degree in the medical field or someone who has earned a nursing degree and does not
have much experience. Assistant nurses have two options; you may choose to live in the health center and assist
the nurses throughout the day or you may live in a cabin with campers having some cabin responsibilities and assist
the nurses during the day during activity periods and sick calls. If you are interested in applying for a medical
staff position, below are the possible positions you may apply for:
Registered Nurse ( 4 or 8 week positions available)
Nurse Assistant - In Health Center (8 week position)
Nurse Assistant/Cabin Counselor (9 week position includes one week of staff training)
Support Staff:
As a member of our support staff you would live in staff housing and assist in the daily operation of our camp.
If you are interested in applying for a support staff position, below are the possible positions you may apply for:
Maintenance, grounds keeping, night watchman, housekeeping, Chef, Sous chef, kitchen assistant, dish washer.
