Four Distinct Programs From a campers point of view our programs are considered separate camps and operate their own programs. A few activities are scheduled on a co-ed basis at our 4 week camps. From a staff members point of view, our administrative staff, support staff and counseling staff for all programs are considered one team as staff members will interact with all programs. We train all the staff together for most situations and days and nights off will consist of staff from all programs. Lake of the Woods and Greenwoods Camp programs are considered brother/sister camps that run two 4-week sessions. These programs run simultaneously and staff live in the cabins for both 4 week sessions. Classes are not co-ed but campers do see each other and will occasionally have an optional co-ed evening program or special day. Most staff members will instruct activities to campers from both programs and some positions involve instruction at The Glen and The Grove as well. Lake of the Woods Camp for Girls Two 4-week sessions 170 girls ages 7-15 Counselors live in cabins for both 4 week sessions Counselors instruct 4 or 5 activity periods a day Staff get a total of 7 days off Staff get 2 nights off each week in addition to days off Additional breaks are scheduled for days that staff are not on official time off. Greenwoods Camp for Boys Two 4-week sessions 150 boys ages 7-15 Counselors live in cabins for both 4 week sessions Counselors instruct 4 or 5 activity periods a day Staff get a total of 7 days off Staff get 2 nights off each week in addition to days off Additional breaks are scheduled for days that staff are not on official time off. The Glen at Lake of the Woods Camp and The Grove at Greenwoods Camps are programs that share the same facilities at different times in the season. These two programs never run at the same time. Staff live in cabins with same gender campers for two 2-week sessions. During the opposite genders two 2-week sessions, staff will live in a staff cabin with 15 other staff members. The campers at The Glen and The Grove will never have classes with campers from Lake of the Woods or Greenwoods, but may see each other from time to time. Staff members will instruct activities to campers from both The Glen and The Grove and some positions involve instruction at Lake of the Woods and Greenwoods as well. The Glen at Lake of the Woods Two 2-week sessions for girls 125 girls ages 6-13 Counselors live in cabins with campers for both 2 week sessions Counselors live in a staff cabin when The Grove boy's camp is in session. Counselors instruct 4 or 5 activity periods a day Staff get a total of 7 days off Staff get at least 2 nights off each week in addition to days off. Additional breaks are scheduled for weeks that staff are not living in cabins with campers. The Grove at Greenwoods Camp Two 2-week sessions for boys 125 boys ages 6-13 Counselors live in cabins with campers for both 2 week sessions Counselors live in a staff cabin when The Glen girls'camp is in session. Counselors instruct 4 or 5 activity periods a day Staff get a total of 7 days off Staff get at least 2 nights off each week in addition to days off. Additional breaks are scheduled for weeks that staff are not living in cabins with campers.
